From the Santo Domingo Airport to Rancho Wendy

By Bus: Take a taxi ($30) or go upstairs to take a bus into Santo Domingo. Go to Tarea Bus Station (click here for information on Tarea bus stations in Santo Domingo). Buy a ticket for Bonao (100 pesos). Don't worry about where to get off because Bonao is the last stop and only takes 1 - 1.5 hour. By Car: Make your way to Autopista Duarte and follow north. About 10 minutes after passing Piedra Blanca, watch for a small blue "Brugal" sign in the median for the towns of Yuma and San Isidro and turn left. You will drive through the rice fields, cross a small bridge and see some stop lights that probably will not be working. Turn left and follow for around 10 minutes. Watch the road for holes and people and continue going up for several minutes until you gradually turn go right into the town of Los Quemados. Continue over speed bumps until you see the road to the left (the road you're on goes into the river just a few feet further). Turn to the left and drive for about two minutes and look for the Ranch on your left.
