Can You Handle "Killer Trail?"

Costs: $30.00pp - The cost includes transportation to the start of the trail, lunch and a local guide to lead you on the right mountain trails and maybe pick some fresh fruit in the trees. 

A trek through the gorgeous mountains that you won't forget..and neither will your legs. Head out from the Ranch and leave for a day of hiking on one of our most challenging trails. Take your time along the trail and enjoy the plant life, fruits, amazing views and look down to watch your step.

We'll take you and your guide for a 20 minute drive further into the mountains, up hills and around curves. Our "Killer Trail" trek will lead you up and down the mountains, over rivers and streams and past homes on the side of the mountains and the small village of La Seba. You may just want to stop at one of the mountain homes and ask for a cup of fresh coffee (cafe) for a couple pesos.
 

In true Dominican style, community life in and around these villages unfolds out on the street. This gives the strange passing foreigner a rare privilege of seeing and joining in the timeless pastimes of the campo, such as the drying of coffee and cacao out on the doorstep. 
The dramatic views along this stretch will be inspiring, as you wind our way along the range before ending at a 300 foot waterfall. This trip can take from 5-8 hours depending on your hiking condition. A packed lunch is included.
